Meet Kimberly Nyberg, RMT
Education and Background
Kimberly has had experience in the healthcare field for most of her adult life. After graduating in 1993 from Lake of the Woods District Hospital, in Kenora, as a Registered Nursing Assistant, she moved to Winnipeg in 1994. Over the next seven years, she worked in home care, palliative care, and various nursing homes.
She returned to school when her daughters were 8 and 6 years old and got her Special Needs Educational Assistant diploma. Kimberly worked as a substitute in the Pembina Trails School Division until she landed a job as an Inclusion Specialist in a daycare, where she stayed for 10 years.
Choosing Massage Therapy
Being half Swedish, massage came naturally to Kimberly, and she often massaged family and friends. She decided to return to school after her younger daughter graduated from high school, and massage therapy seemed like a natural fit. Kimberly graduated from Robertson College as a Registered Massage Therapist in August 2018. She offers a variety of massage techniques tailored to each practice member’s specific needs and goals.
